JOB TITLE Human Resource Generalist - Full Time

JOB DESCRIPTION Come join our team of dedicated staff! We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Human Resource Generalist to work with a growth and service oriented senior care organization in the La Crosse, WI area. This position will typically work Monday - Friday from 8:00am-4:30pm, but the successful candidate must have flexibility to work outside regular hours and days to meet employee and facility needs. Reporting to the HR Director, this position will work closely with facility managers and employees, providing leadership and support in the areas of employee relations and policy interpretation, employee retention and engagement, workplace safety, employment law compliance, e-learning, performance management, HRMS, and benefits administration.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelorís degree in Human Resources or related field and 2-3 years directly related HR experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Working knowledge including but not limited to EEO/AA, FMLA, COBRA, ACA, FLSA
  • SHRM-CP or PHR beneficial
  • Ability to extract data from various systems to report key metrics and information needed to assess and make recommendations
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word (Intermediate), Excel (Intermediate-Advanced) , Publisher (Basic), Access (Basic), and Power Point (Basic)
